Welcome to Dikefe's dog walking services. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the dog walking services provided by Dikefe, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our dog walking services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

2. Service Description

Dikefe provides professional dog walking services for pet owners in London and surrounding areas. Our services include:

  • Individual and group dog walking sessions
  • Flexible scheduling options to accommodate your needs
  • Professional and experienced dog walkers
  • GPS tracking and real-time updates during walks
  • Emergency veterinary care coordination if needed

All services are subject to availability and must be booked in advance through our website or by contacting our customer service team.

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client of Dikefe, you agree to the following responsibilities:

  • Vaccination Records: Ensure your dog is up-to-date with all required vaccinations and provide proof upon request
  • Health Disclosure: Inform us of any medical conditions, behavioral issues, or special needs your dog may have
  • Equipment: Provide appropriate leash, collar, harness, and any necessary items for your dog's walk
  • Access: Provide clear instructions and safe access to your property for pick-up and drop-off
  • Payment: Make timely payments according to the agreed schedule and pricing structure
  • Cancellation: Provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations to avoid cancellation fees

4. Booking and Cancellation Policy

4.1 Booking Procedures

All bookings must be made through our online platform or by contacting our office directly. We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance to ensure availability. Last-minute bookings may be accommodated subject to walker availability.

4.2 Cancellation Terms

Cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice will receive a full refund or credit. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows or cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled service will be charged in full.

4.3 Weather Conditions

In cases of extreme weather conditions that may pose a risk to your dog's safety, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule walks without penalty to either party.

5. Payment Terms

Payment for our services must be made in accordance with the following terms:

  • All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and include applicable taxes
  • Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer
  • Recurring services may be set up on automatic billing with advance notice
  • Late payments may result in suspension of services and additional fees
  • All pricing is subject to change with 30 days written notice

6. Liability and Insurance

Dikefe maintains comprehensive liability insurance for all dog walking services. However, clients should be aware of the following:

  • We are not liable for pre-existing health conditions or injuries that occur due to your dog's medical issues
  • Clients are responsible for any damage caused by their dog to third parties or property
  • We take every precaution to ensure your dog's safety, but cannot be held liable for accidents beyond our reasonable control
  • Emergency veterinary care will be sought if needed, and clients are responsible for all associated costs

We strongly recommend that all clients maintain their own pet insurance coverage.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws, including GDPR. Information collected includes contact details, property access information, and your dog's health records. This information is used solely for providing our services and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or for emergency veterinary care.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Dikefe and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

9. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice. Dikefe reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the agreement immediately if:

  • Your dog displays aggressive behavior that poses a risk to our staff or other animals
  • Payment terms are not met
  • False information has been provided regarding your dog's health or behavior
  • Our terms and conditions are violated

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
